White Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut Cookies

1 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
10 oz. white chocolate chips
5 oz. chopped macadamia nuts

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a medium bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Stir in egg and vanilla. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir into creamed mixture. Finally, stir in white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts. Drop cookies by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet, about 2" apart.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on wire racks. When cool, store in an airtight container.
